This painting is inspired by a selfie of mine wearing an orange mascara before going out to go grocery shopping.

The name of the painting is a tribute to Ada Lovelace, who was called the “Enchantress of Numbers” by her fellow mathematician and philosopher friend, Charles Babbage, who wrote:
 
“FORGET THIS WORLD AND ALL ITS TROUBLES AND IF POSSIBLE ITS MULTITUDINOUS CHARLATANS, EVERYTHING IN SHORT BUT THE ENCHANTRESS OF NUMBERS.”
